Hello Blogging world! I'm BACK!

Aloha ya'll! Sorry it's been so long since I've last posted! Ekke! It just gets crazy as a lot of you may know, so blogging goes way down on the priority list, but needless to say I am here now and here's what is going down at the baker home:

We have been is Hawaii for almost 7 years now and as much as we love "paradise" we are excited to get off of this rock and onto the mainland where family and friends are nearer to us. Military life has got to be one of the hardest things and yet so fun at the same time.

Our next station is......drum roll please.......OKLAHOMA!! Yes! We can't wait honestly, wide open spaces, nothing around us (besides walmart) :) should be fun. Not sure if I'll like it or if I'll go crazy. We actually were there for a couple months when we first got married and I was going through morning sickness and living in a hotel room in the middle of summer, bleh, so not very good memories, hopefully I'll like it better now that I have kiddos to keep me busy, probably take up something like knitting on the side, so you might be getting some pretty awesome presents coming your way. Anyways, Luckily we have friends stationed there already so we'll have some familiar faces to see. We leave Hawaii in March and report to Altus, OK in April!

We are looking into buying our very first house and thinking about other additions... ;) can't wait for the next adventure. I'll miss good ol' Hawaii though, this is all we have known as a married couple and all our kiddos have known, we'll be back here to visit for sure. Probably when the kids get older.

The kiddos are growing up so fast it's way fun and way challenging. :) But I'd never have it any other way. Devin is starting to say more words now and is starting to have more signs of the terrible twos are ahead, but I think I'm ready lol. He makes up for all the tantrums by little kisses and hugs randomly throughout the day. Lillie is getting her alphabet down and each day she says the silliest things, I love her spunky attitude and her sweet spirit she brings to our home.

I love it now that the kids can play together, they laugh, scream, push, scratch, cry, talk, hug, get into things together to make mommy a little more crazy, but I'm good with it. They are my life, and I'll tell ya it's never boring. :)

Daniel is almost done with his bachelors and hopefully will be switching from enlisted to officer soon, and he might be trying to get onto the pilot program, but we'll see, still trying to figure out what's best for the family.

He and I are growing each day in every way possible. Marriage is tough, but I wouldn't want to work through things in this life without him. Love you honey.

I'm loving life. Besides from being a mama, I've started working on sharing doTERRA essential oils with whoever is wanting to listen. They have helped my family become healthy and happy and I'm just having so much fun with everything I learn. Wish I could just soak it all in at once. :) It has been rewarding in the fact that I've grown and learned to get out of my comfort zone and actually talk to people I don't really know lol. Super hard for me, but I've gained confidence and had so much joy every time I talk with someone or have a class. Daniel has been really great, Thursday nights are when I host a class and he takes care of the kiddos for me. And that's basically all I do, I love that I can stay at home and be with the kids and also help my family financially. Loving every minute of it, ok anyway! I could go on and on about my love for my new found passion, but I won't, I've already gone long enough.

Here's the fun part, PICTURES!!

Happy Birthday to our Lillie girl!

Oh this little lady has blessed our lives with so much joy and fun and I can't believe she is three already! Where did the time go honestly? Lillie girl I love you so much! Can't wait for all the years to come, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. ;)
Lillie with her nana
Lillie really wanted to go to the zoo so we of course did. She was so happy to have her Nana and Papa there with her. It was a fun day. She was able to see all the animals she wanted to. She especially loved the hippos, and the monkeys.

Ok I'm no Photographer, but I love my new camera!

Just a post with pics! :)
Devin loves his daddy.

Sweet little Rex, I love you, even though you keep escaping the yard somehow and bark at our neighbors we don't even know. :)

I love this lovely little lady!

He's getting too big!

Down Pour!!

Whenever Devin has a bottle Lillie will now want to get all comfortable too, sometimes they'll hold hands. Makes my day every time. ;)

He loves daddy's water bottle

He kept pushing the mouthpiece down and couldn't get it up and he'd look at me like, "mom help me" It was the same face every time, so hilarious!

"whatchu want"

Haha!

Me taking pictures of the tree in our backyard, just trying to figure it out, but it's so fun!

The only flowers that survived in my garden, thanks to Daniel. :)

Close up

I love these leaves on the bush out front our apt.

And the palm trees!

The sun on the palm in the morning, I love it! Plumeria trees are next!

Fun, fun, and more fun!

Aloha everyone! I'm so excited for this new year! Lots to look forward to and lots more to learn. This past year has been wonderful, full of love and joy and hardships and a new little person added to our family! Just to sum up for the year 2011...

Feb: We moved to our final apartment for this station in Hawaii- (We will be leaving next year March 2013) And we love staying put in our three bed, two and a half bath, I'm finally able to decorate more than I've in our three other past apartments! Sheesh, lots of moving.

March: Our Silly Lillie turned two! (soon to be three! Ahhh goes by way too fast)

April: Our sweet Devin boy was born on the 3rd! It's been such a blessing and somewhat of a little challenge raising two little ones, but I have no room to complain, they are both so sweet in their own way. :)

May: Daniel and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary and many more to come. :)

July: Daniel's mama moved out, and we were so sad to see her leave us. And we miss her terribly. We also were able to meet up with my family in DISNEYLAND!! YES!!

August: Daniel started working at the wing, (so meaning lots more responsibilities and tons to learn) :) But it's good for him to extend himself more, I'm proud of all the hard work he does and the stress he goes through (including me) and can come home and be so patient and loving to the kiddos and me. I love you honey. :)

November: My mama, dad, and little sis Emma came to visit for a while and Emma was able to stay for pretty much a month on the island, which was nice to spend lots of time with her, she brought lots of humor to our place. :)

December: And the year ended with a BANG my ENTIRE family came out to see us, and more importantly see the island...tehehe! But Christmas was so great to have everyone together, it's been a while since that has happened. I'm so grateful that I was able to have them here.

Well that sums it up, and I'd say quite nicely! :) Loved last year! Goodbye to you, and WELCOME 2012!! I have so many goals and projects that I want to do this year...

First: Get back into shape (of course), it's been nine months since I've had Devin and I'm back to before I was pregnant with him, but I want to get back to where I was before I got pregnant with Lillie, :) We'll see how it goes, but I have my goals. So by meaning get back in shape is running at least a 1/2 marathon!

Second: Add some more flare to the house!

Third: Learn how to sew

Fourth: Learn more baking skills (this will help me loose weight, just trust me) haha!

Fifth: Be more PATIENT

Sixth: Enjoy the moments God has given me.

Seventh: Take more pictures! (Oh and I got an amazing camera for Christmas!! Now I have no excuse!)

I have many more, but I'll spare you all the long list. :) At this time of year I sure do miss the snow and the cold, but while I miss it, I'll still be on the beach soaking up the sun and the waves for you all! Love you guys!! Hope to see you all soon! Have a Happy New YEAR!! And remember to keep God in with all the goals and resolutions you have, for He surely will help you along the way.
