Aloha everyone! I'm so excited for this new year! Lots to look forward to and lots more to learn. This past year has been wonderful, full of love and joy and hardships and a new little person added to our family! Just to sum up for the year 2011...

Feb: We moved to our final apartment for this station in Hawaii- (We will be leaving next year March 2013) And we love staying put in our three bed, two and a half bath, I'm finally able to decorate more than I've in our three other past apartments! Sheesh, lots of moving.

March: Our Silly Lillie turned two! (soon to be three! Ahhh goes by way too fast)

April: Our sweet Devin boy was born on the 3rd! It's been such a blessing and somewhat of a little challenge raising two little ones, but I have no room to complain, they are both so sweet in their own way. :)

May: Daniel and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary and many more to come. :)

July: Daniel's mama moved out, and we were so sad to see her leave us. And we miss her terribly. We also were able to meet up with my family in DISNEYLAND!! YES!!

August: Daniel started working at the wing, (so meaning lots more responsibilities and tons to learn) :) But it's good for him to extend himself more, I'm proud of all the hard work he does and the stress he goes through (including me) and can come home and be so patient and loving to the kiddos and me. I love you honey. :)

November: My mama, dad, and little sis Emma came to visit for a while and Emma was able to stay for pretty much a month on the island, which was nice to spend lots of time with her, she brought lots of humor to our place. :)

December: And the year ended with a BANG my ENTIRE family came out to see us, and more importantly see the island...tehehe! But Christmas was so great to have everyone together, it's been a while since that has happened. I'm so grateful that I was able to have them here.

Well that sums it up, and I'd say quite nicely! :) Loved last year! Goodbye to you, and WELCOME 2012!! I have so many goals and projects that I want to do this year...

First: Get back into shape (of course), it's been nine months since I've had Devin and I'm back to before I was pregnant with him, but I want to get back to where I was before I got pregnant with Lillie, :) We'll see how it goes, but I have my goals. So by meaning get back in shape is running at least a 1/2 marathon!

Second: Add some more flare to the house!

Third: Learn how to sew

Fourth: Learn more baking skills (this will help me loose weight, just trust me) haha!

Fifth: Be more PATIENT

Sixth: Enjoy the moments God has given me.

Seventh: Take more pictures! (Oh and I got an amazing camera for Christmas!! Now I have no excuse!)

I have many more, but I'll spare you all the long list. :) At this time of year I sure do miss the snow and the cold, but while I miss it, I'll still be on the beach soaking up the sun and the waves for you all! Love you guys!! Hope to see you all soon! Have a Happy New YEAR!! And remember to keep God in with all the goals and resolutions you have, for He surely will help you along the way.

Wow I can't believe that both of my babies are sleeping! I just wanted to say hello! Life has been so much fun lately! The past couple of weeks our family has gone to Disneyland, Utah, Georgia, and back to Hawaii. It was crazy and so much fun! I was able to spend tons of time with my family in Disney and utah. I'm so happy it turned out that way. And to make the trip even better we were able to visit some of Daniel's side of the family. And they were all so much fun and hilarious! I could barely tell what they all were saying.
Now we are back in Hawaii at home and I'm working on Potty training with Lillie. It's been grand! ;) I'm so excited for the day she gets it completely! And just a little side note, I'm getting the carpets cleaned when she's done. And it's only been two days! She's been doing pretty good. She hates it when her "big girl panties and a mess" so hey that's a good sign right? She's gone on the toilet three times total. And the last pee she caught herself and went to the toilet. hehe! So I think there's already some improvement. It's fun and so crazy that she's growing up. I need to start writing down all the hilarious stuff she says.

Here's a couple from what I remember:

Right after we got home from our trip she sees her stuffed animal and gives it a big hug and says:
"it's good to see you"

I was getting dressed in front of her one day and she points at my belly and says:
"ewwe mom!" haha!!!! Thanks Lil.

She says this to me all the time when we're playing with Devin:
"Devin's so cute, hey sweetie pie" (and she says it to Devin in a high pitched voice)

Before the potty training and she's pooping in her diaper face all red:
Mom: "Lillie are you pooping?"
Lil: "No almost."

Well gotta keep up with those, there's so many I need to just have a pen and paper laying around. That's one of my goals lately.

Well as of news...dun dun dun....Daniel and I have decided that we're going to extend another four years to the military service. Yay! We're most likely moving to Oklahoma! Either that or Turkey. I'm hoping for the good ol OK. Please just get us on the mainland. We're pretty excited though! So yay!

Recently I've decided to focus in on running to get back in shape! Oh BOY, its tough especially with the kiddos and when Daniel is out of town. I've seen him all of ten days this month and he leaves again tomorrow, so not too fun.

This morning I was super down about how Daniel has been gone a ton this month and has another trip tomorrow, but I went for a run to release some of the stress. I was running along the little path that goes along the edge of base, when I came across a runner headed towards me, but we didn't make eye contact, I didn't feel like being "a social exerciser." So I just kept running. Later on, on my way back I looked ahead of me and I saw a little boy just playing with a remote control car and I was thinking in my mind about how he was going to react to me as I passed by, was he going to run back to his house or not even make eye contact or anything. And when I was passing by, he looked up from what he was doing, moved a little to the side to let me pass and just beamed a huge smile at me and was waving enthusiastically, he was about eight or so. He didn't have to smile at a lone stranger, but he did and I smiled and wave back (a little shocked), but instantly feeling so much better, knowing that life was so wonderful no matter your circumstances.

I have my family and they love me and I love them, that right there should make me so happy and always happy. I know they are all healthy, safe, and happy. God knew exactly what I needed, it was just a little smile, and it brightened my world. So thank you little boy, who ever you are for giving me a little piece of light.

So I just wanted to say, when come across someone, even a lone stranger, don't forget to smile. You never know what impact it could have on them and how it can make a life a little brighter.

Just another day

Why is it as you get older the days go by so much faster? I so wish it would slow down just a little...life is so amazing!

Just the other day Lillie, Dev and I were leaving Target and I was trying to get Lillie to hurry and she kept pulling so hard on me...(they both had just had their shots and were both really irritated, but had to grab the essential wipes and diapers :)) I looked down at her ready to tell her we needed to leave now, and she stopped and said "flowers mom!" pointing to a bush right beside us and there were tiny purple flowers growing inside. At that moment I stopped and realized, why was I in such a hurry? Lillie taught me to see the small beauties in the world that we rarely take the chance to even notice. So we stopped and picked a little flower for her, she smelled it and smiled up at me. And my heart seemed to grow as I realized what Lillie just taught me.

Life goes by so quick, look and listen to all that's around you and not just rush through it trying to get to the next thing so the "to do" list is smaller. That list will always be there, and it will be ok if we don't finish everything on it today. The real important thing is to recognize those moments right in front of us, and put them in our hearts. Love you Lillie girl!

So now for the update you've been looking forward to mama. :) Well we just recently had Devin and Lillie's Doctor appointments. Everything is looking great. Devin is a little chunk he now weighs 14lbs 4oz and is killing my back hehe. He's growing so quick and learning to "coo" and "gaa" at us. He smiles all the time and just the other day it sounded like he laughed. Too cute! Its hard to get it all on camera, but I do my best.

Wow a month, really?!

Well Devin is a month old today! Everything is going well, we all got sick for a little while, but now we are doing great (have oils to thank for that so awesome, can't get over how great they are). Devin's first apt he was over 9lbs! He has gotten a little more chubby since then. :) I love it! He's growing way too fast already though, I just try to soak in all I can. Lillie is super great with him and loves her little brother soo much, and hasn't tried anything yet. ;)
Daniel has already been asked to leave on another trip, so I've been on my own this week, which is super fun, and time goes by way fast when I'm busy...hehe. But I'm really ready to get out of the military, da hubby is not supposed to leave all the time like he does. :) So hopefully we can figure out something, but for now we only have a little less than two years left here in Hawaii, (so all those who want to come visit me you better hurry up) plus if we decided to stay in we'd probably be in OK, who would want to visit there? hehe! JK! It'd be nice to be a lot closer, so who knows what the plan will be, it's a pretty big decision, so it'll take some time.

Devin James Baker!

Welp! We've got some news! hehe!

Devin James Baker was born April 3rd weighing 8lbs 7oz and 21 inches long! The labor was super fast for me, we got to the hospital at 11pm, I got admitted when I was dilated to a four, which was about an hour later. Then went through almost the entire labor without an epidural, which was incredibly fun! haha! I don't know how women could go for days in labor. But finally the only anesthesiologist got to me about thirty mins before I started to push. Which I was thankful for, I could still feel the contractions, but didn't feel anything down there, it was something so I was just happy to have it. And at 4:37am April 3rd Devin was born! So a total of five and half hours in the hospital. AWESOME! Painful, but awesome! So so sooooo glad I didn't have to have a C-Section.

He is doing amazingly well! Sleeping, eating, pooping....all the important stuff hehe. It's funny he'll hardly cry, unless he's hungry. He'll just grunt. All last night he was grunting, it might not be as stressful to hear as crying, but it still keeps you up hehe. Lillie loves her "baby debin" she's a little jealous at times, but for the most part she's sweet and wants to give him kisses and holds him, and loves throwing his diapers away. :)

Now I'm just hoping and praying to heal quickly so that I can be able to help with the kiddos more. For now the tv is my best friend, now that Daniel has to head back into work.

Hello EVERYONE!!! Wow we have had some fun these past few weeks! We were able to experience a tsunami, it was only 6 ft. but we evacuated to a friends house up on the hill. It's nothing compared to Japan, and we pray and hope that things will start looking up and that families can find the relief that they need. On a brighter note we celebrated Lillie's 2ND Birthday!! We had the grill going and I grabbed a piece of wood just laying around and painted it with chalkboard paint (which is so fun!)

So now she won't just chalk all over the grill, and she loves it! We got her a little pool to play in, she had loads of fun in that as well. And finally had a lovely chocolate cake for her, and this year she dug in! Whoo!

Life is continuing, and we are soon to be having our next little one. Contractions are getting more and more consistent! So we are just waiting! Now at 37 weeks! Can't wait for him to be here! So maybe next post we'll see. We're praying he doesn't come until mama gets out here, in less than six days! So excited to see family too! Yay! Well that's my update! Miss and love you guys!!! :)

Zumba is all I can think about lately! This is seriously the best workout ever! I just love to dance and shake what my mamma gave me (not at the moment, which would be incredibly awkward, but soon). :D Anyways I just wanted to express my love for this fun workout experience and to say to all those to love to dance, the ones that are great and the not so coordinated, its still so much fun! And I encourage you all to try it at least once! Just look at how happy these three dancers are in the pic....haha! No but seriously! TRY IT!!

Baby Update...

ALOHA to all you winter world people!!! Hope the weather is getting better! Come visit ok?! :) We'd love to have you here! I'm serious. :D
Well I was just going to post on my recent doc apt that was yesterday. So I had some concerns about the C-section again, and I hope and pray that I don't have to have another one. But so far everything looks good, he's head down and progressing just as he should. The doctor just said the because I wasn't able to dilate with Lillie then, it might happen again, so just to prepare for that. If it happens then so be it, but I'm going to do all I can to have a normal delivery. So I'm just praying for things to go well, for him and me. At least I know what to expect if things go not how I want, so I guess thats a upside to it. I'm getting huge and my weight is so funny, I never ever thought I'd see that number on the SCALE!! So I'm ready to be done getting any fatter ha ha! I just can't wait to loose it and look good again haha! I'm going to do some beach running and ZUMBA! Girlies Zumba is amazing!! I love love love it!!! Try it out if you haven't. :)

Anyways back to baby boy (still aren't set on a name) I can not wait until I can hold him in my arms and be able to cuddle and play with him. We finally got a little recliner for our bedroom, for the midnight wake ups...hehe. We are a little more prepared this time for the no sleep. I'm just grateful Lillie sleeps well. She's in her crib still, but we took off the front so she can get out whenever she wants, she's been waking up so happy and just playing in her room for at least an hour. Like today she woke up about 730 and then played until 9 just doing whatever, she wasn't loud so I was able to sleep more. We have the monitor in our room for her, just in case. So I just let her play this morning and got a little more much needed sleep, which was amazing! Even then I went in to get her surprised she played until 9! But she was just peaceful in her bed looking at books. :) I love this little girl! I can't believe how sweet she is. And the fact that she's already TWO! Oh my word! We haven't thrown her a birthday party yet, because Daniel is out of town and we've all been pretty sick. So hopefully next weekend when Daniel is home (hopefully he'll be). So I'll post pics then, when I do find my camera and get it charged ha ha.

The house is slowly, very slowly getting set. I wish it would happen faster, we need more storage and things so I'm still trying to figure out where everything needs to go. Today I was able to do my own little area in my bedroom, which I can make somewhat more girly than most of the house. So I love it. I bought a couple of shelves for small books and trinkets. And two wall folder holders and pasted some pretty paper on them, so now they are beautiful! he he. My first Deco Paz project! So I'd say it was pretty good. :) That stuff is fun to play with by the way. You can use in on anything, I did it to my white shelves too. So now there's a lot of fun color in my little corner. :) I think it's very important to make a space just for you. I love to sit and look at it, and think of other things I can do for it. I have a lot of cute ideas for the house (thanks to Better Homes and Gardens) and can't wait to get them finished. It helps knowing that I'll stay in this house for a little longer than a year. So I want to put a little more love into than our last places. So I'll post pics soon when I get camera issues out of the way. Does anyone have any ideas for a pantry, we were given an empty little area with no shelving at all, so I'd love to hear ideas. :)

Hello ya'll! Well as you may know we just moved into our new place and are totally loving it! I'm so so so glad to have my own bathroom! Seriously! It's awesome! haha! And of course I'm glad Lillie has her own room, sweetie loves playing, playing, playing in it. She loves her own space, she closes the door all the time. Well we shouldn't be getting internet until tuesday, so right now I'm with Daniel at the gas station getting free internet hehe! Anyways, I'll update soon with pics and things! Love you all!! Ok so at times I lack a little creativity, so that's why I completely am in love with THIS Magazine!

They have such great Ideas and I am so excited to use them in my new place! And I'm totally obsessed with the pretty organization techniques. Please if you have not checked it out already I highly suggest you do so, if you're into the "making something better out of something old" or just wanting a cool little project to do. I'll be posting up some new projects soon! Once I actually decide on which ones I want to do, it's like being a kid in the candy store, I can't decide I want them all... Ha ha!

But I just wanted to express my total obsession with DIY Better Homes and Gardens Mag! Love it! Yay! Oh and I also decided that I love Pottery Barn more than ever and am planning on copying some of their ideas but making it cheaper. hehe Don't tell them ok?

Alright so I went and saw the house with Lillie today and I am happy to say that we will be moving this weekend! :) I can't wait to get into my home to make it our home! Yay! It turns out that the closet sizes (which looked pretty small on the floor plan and what was the major problem) were bigger than we thought! So that's good news. And I'm super excited to have my own bathroom! yay! Can't wait to move for the last time in Hawaii :)
So the next few days I'll be busy packing up the rest of the things that weren't packed already hehe, which shouldn't take long, we'd be able to move today but Daniel is out of town and can't sign the paper work. So i'm getting everything ready. I think the nesting period of the pregnancy has hit me, this is all I can think about, is getting a house ready for the family. And making it so beautiful!
I just wanted to express my excitement with you all! hehe! Love you lots and thank you melissa and mara and mom for your input! I'll post pics of the new place when we get all settled in. :)

A Slight Dilemma ...

   So as some of you may know, our family is waiting to get into a three bedroom house before this next baby comes. The leasing office called me yesterday saying that they had a house available, but it's not one of the nicer ones. Currently we are number 51 on the waiting list and it keeps jumping up and down according to people's rank and need to be moved. But we're staying in the fifties so far. And I guess my question is, is it worth it to live in a house that's not your favorite, but you have the necessary space for the family...should I go for it or should I wait?....

   The new house would be three bed, two and a half bath. The closets look way smaller than the ones we have now, same amount of storage (we'd probably purchase a shed anyway), the master bedroom is slightly smaller (which is where the new little one will be in a pack and play for the first few months until he sleeps through the night then he'll be placed with Lillie), and the living area is smaller as well, but the perk is that the dining area is by the kitchen and is separate than the living room. The back yard is already fenced so we wouldn't have to pay for a fence for rex. (That saves us quite a bit of moola)

   And right now we are currently in a two bed, one and a half bath. No fence, Lillie is sleeping in the storage room, and shares our closet. No dining room, but a slightly larger kitchen. Anyways you get the idea, basically going for something that's not the best and having it now or waiting (probably until the baby is born to move) for a nicer home?

   Please let me know what you think....Here's the apt we'd be moving to, it wouldn't let me show you the floor plans, but anyways you can tell it's a little older on the outside, the inside looks kept up well.

Aloha everyone!!

Happy New Year!!! We sure hope you had a great year! We did and are excited for the new year to come. So we had a great Christmas, we had a little Christmas Eve get together with friends and had a great time playing Pictionary Man! Instead of just drawing on a white board, we drew on a little man haha! It was pretty fun. Lillie really was a lot of fun this Christmas, finally realizing that presents were fun, she never touched a present or would let us touch them until Christmas. She loves her new baby doll, and trike.

Lillie's new words: "santa buckle", Nana, papa, ollie (Hollie), Emma. And she'll always be using her little phones asking where they all are. We miss being away from family, but makes it all the more special being together.

The new baby is growing up, and I'm getting bigger. Love it! But can't wait for him to just be here so I can hold him hehe. :) Everything is going great with him. So we're always grateful about that.

Daniel is in school again, very speedy classes, which has its ups and downs. He's currently taking a speech class that is only twelve days!!! It's seems like it's been forever since he's had the holidays off, but I barely see him nights, and can't wait for him to be done. But we are glad he's finishing up. :) Keep it up honey!!

Life has been fantastic and I shouldn't complain, just the other night Daniel and I were coming out of a movie, and just talking about dreams and wants. Then we both look over and saw dozens of people just sleeping on the sidewalk with nothing but a tarp to lay over them to keep them out of the rain. We both just got really quiet after that, realizing that we have so much. It was just a big eye opener, I knew that there were homeless, but I haven't really seen them sleeping out on the sidewalk. And lately I've just been having a hard time, just complaining and things (I blame on the pregnancy hehe) so I just felt horrible about all the things that had been bothering me, and then seeing that these people had nothing. Just brought a new perspective to life and I hope that I can try to be a little more grateful each day. Life is amazing! We love you all, and hope you each have a wonderful year!!

Camera! Hello!

I love Hawaii and all, but this time of year makes it a little tough, its beautiful here, but I really really want snow, and to be cold when I walk outside. It's hard to get into the holidays while you're in the heat, he he. I need a little weather change here. :) So we are headed to Utah in a week!!!! So excited to see family and enjoy being together and away from the heat. We are just hoping that it will snow. So right now I'm listening to Christmas music, trying to picture the cold, and thinking of all the fun memories about this time of year. So don't hate the people who love Christmas music before Thanksgiving. :)

Just a little update though, life has been pretty good. Had a fun Halloween, went to a ward potluck and had a trunk or treat the night before. And again this year no one came to our house so we have a huge stash of candy and it's horrible for me. :) Daniel dressed up like an old man, I was an 80's girl, and Lillie was a lady bug. But of course we forgot to take pictures of us. I'm starting to now feel the baby, which makes me getting fat a whole lot more worth it. I can't wait until Daniel can feel the baby kick, its probably my favorite part of pregnancy.

I can't believe it's getting to be the holidays already! October is almost over! I still haven't gotten any costumes yet for Halloween, I usually have everything planned out by now, I love Halloween. This year Daniel will be here for it, so we're pretty excited and Lillie is going out to trick-or-treat. We'll see how it goes. :) We are super excited for the holidays, for Thanksgiving we're going to Utah!! I was trying to keep it a surprise for my family, but it didn't last long, I was too excited. It'll be nice to have our whole family all together again. It's been a while.
So now I'm 15 weeks preggo and finally had my first appointment and got to hear the heartbeat, it was so much fun, Lillie didn't like it though so I had to bring her up on the table with me. :) Anyways, I totally think it's a boy. I don't know why but I just feel like it's a boy. I get to find out in about a month. whoo! This pregnancy has gone by so fast for me. I love it!! I can't wait until I just have the baby already and I'm only at 15 weeks ahh haha. I thought I wasn't supposed to feel this way until a lot later when I'm huge! Oh well. I just hope things go smoothly, I get a little worried from having a previous C-section. Even though it's pretty rare something will go wrong, it's still a pretty big worry. But besides that it's been a pretty good pregnancy. And you guessed it, I'm excited! :)

Hey everyone! Well this past week has been crazy! We finally moved! It's such a long process, but we're glad we are done! haha! for now, in a few months we will be moving to a bigger home on base, shouldn't be too hard of a move, but still stressful. We are in a two bedroom right now, and with M-I-L's and baby coming it's going to get crowded, but they won't let us move to a three bedroom until I'm in my third trimester. So we've got a ways to go. But we are grateful to be back on base, everything is so much closer. No more traffic YAY!! So a little less crazyness on that end. Which gives us more time to be together. :)
Tonight we had a BBQ and invited some friends over, and we all hung out and played games and things. Totally did the Dance Dance Revolution game! haha! Haven't done that in forever, but it was great fun!
Today was kind of a hard day, I'm starting to feel more and more pregnant as I start to get the sick. Bleh, no fun, but I'm glad it's not too bad. I was reading in some of the pregnancy books today that some women go through morning sickness the entire nine months!!! Bless their hearts! That's rough stuff. So it gave me some perspective. :)
Anyways just thought I'd update, since I promised I would try to be better hehe. Love you all! Miss you tons!! Can't wait to visit soon!

Hello everyone, I know I know, I've been a bad blogger. But today I made a goal that I would try to update atleast once a week. So you might get some random just thoughts in the future so just bare with me. :)

Well the updates since last blog....hmmm well we are moving once again. So that's been on my mind. We're hoping to get into a three bedroom apt on base again. We aren't saving any money (which we thought we would) they actually bumped up the prices here in Kapolei. :( So we're sad to leave the ward. But we'll probably be in the same ward as before, so atleast we'll know some people hehe. Anyway, so I've just been slowly getting things packed to make it easier, I've done some priming on the walls and am so sad that I have to paint over the lovely green walls. I don't know if I will paint again in our next place, I'll just be decorating the walls. I'll put pics once we get all settled.
Lillie has been growing up so fast, just these past few months she's so different. We're just trying to soak her all up each moment. ;) She's just now getting to saying a few words, like "ball, dog, daddy, mama, Jesus, car...and all her other jibberish hehe. If it's quiet in the house I know she's getting into something. Just the other day I was washing dishes and in the middle (noticing it was oddly quiet) of it I turned around and she was on the table just standing there!!! Gave me a little heart attack. She's just climbing everywhere. Luckily we have some gates up to keep her out of a lot of stuff, but they won't last much longer. But she's been doing so great and she's so stinking funny. I'll have to post some pics of her silly faces. (I know I'm totally bragging by the way..Shhh she's my life so deal. :))
Daniel has been back and forth from travels, so we cherish all the time we have together. I'm sometimes so jealous he gets to go all around the world. Someday we'll get to travel and explore together. It's one of my dreams. Anyway he's been doing very well.
I'm doing pretty good. Just ready to be settled in where ever we're going to be at. :) Hopefully a three bedroom soon. (needing a little space at times) :) But it's good, and I'm so happy with what we have. So if you haven't heard.....we are expecting our second baby hehe!!! Yay!! We're so excited!! Should be due around May. Haven't seen the doc yet. So I'll let you all know on a due date when I can.
Well that's bascially the news up to now. Life's good, we miss you all and wish we could be closer. Someday someday. :)

ALOHA!!! I'm finally posting some pictures! We went to the pool today with some ward member friends! It was a lot of fun!

The Lowe's and Sister Jones by the pool. It's separated with a little wall and the brown side has little pebbles in the bottom, almost like sand but nicer because it doesn't stick all over you. And it's great when you have little ones wanting to swim. :)

Lillie is up and about walking and everything getting into all sorts of stuff. :) She's pretty good about not eating things though, she'll usually give it to me. But still have to keep a pretty close eye on her. Such a sweetie I can't even handle it! She's got this new thing where she hates anything on her feet or her hands. She loves it when we wash hands hehe. We just had her first year doctors appointment and she's in the top percentile of everything, she's heavy, she's tall, and she's got a big head hehe. I'm just glad she's happy and healthy. I feel like I'm connecting with her more and more as she gets older, she's just starting to react to me more and she talks in her own language. It makes me want to know what she's thinking. Anyday she'll start talking. :) We go to the park now. She is such an explorer and is fearless. (scares me at times how fearless she is.) Not sure if that's a good sign hehe. Ok so that's Lillie's update for you all. We miss you and love you too much! Hope to be with you soon! Come and visit this summer if ya want! Hey everyone! So sorry it's been soo long since I've posted. I love you all so much! Life has been busy. Lillie and I went out to Utah for about three weeks and had a lovely time. We enjoyed every minute with friends and family. :) Love you nana and grandpa! Thanks for taking good care of us.
While we were in Utah my mom took some awesome pictures of Lillie! She posted some already on her blog. I still have to upload them to this computer. But i will get them on here, I promise. :) (I really will do it.)
And now Lillie is one year old! I can't believe it. The year has gone by way to fast. She walking and starting to say little things like mama and dada and nana. :) I love listening to her. Sometimes she'll be looking at one of her books and start talking, like she's reading its so cute, (sometimes the book will even be upside down she's so talented hehe) Lillie is so hilarious! She makes us all laugh everyday.
So I'm really excited! I'm starting the Jillian michaels 30 day shred! It kicked my butt today. Felt so awesome! I've realized I've been totally lazy in exercise it's already been a year! Where has the time gone? So I'm just getting things back on track. Watching what I eat and hopefully helping the family out a little more too. :) I just love life and love being here in Hawaii. I can't get enough of it.
Daniel just got promoted Staff Sergeant! He's done such a great job in being on top of things and working hard. He's serious about his work and we are so excited for this accomplishment! Go Daniel!! :)

Ohhh the Holidays!!

Hey everyone!! I'm soo sorry it's taken me so long to post something. Just been pretty busy with the holidays and everything. But then I look and see everyone else has posted something hehe. Well Daniel and Lillie and I are in Indiana at the moment. We spent Christmas with his family, I was able to finally get some pictures, but I'll have to wait until I get home to post them. We don't have our computer. So those will be up soon. Lillie is having such a ball with all her cousins and getting used to the screaming hehe, she has one cousin and they are two weeks apart and they are so sweet and funny together and are both learning each others little tricks. :) It's been lots of fun. We are ready to get back to the warm weather though, it's been soooo stinking cold!! I'm not used to it anymore. :) Lillie loves it though, every time we get her out of the car she smiles and laughs at how cold it is. She's got quite a personality. I know I say this on every blog, but I love her sooo much. :) Anyway I just wanted to say hello!! Miss you all!! Wish we could be in Utah too for this Christmas!! Love you!!! Thankful List!

Well it's the holidays again! I love this time of year! Being able to be with family and friends and just enjoying time together. It seems like the pace of life slows just a bit for us to enjoy all that is around us. I have been given sooo much in my life. Lately I've been kind of sad about many different things and it's been hard with Daniel's work and the stresses of being a new mom, but I have come to realize even more that I need Christ on my side, and that having him and Heavenly Father in my life, and in my family's life we will be happy no matter the circumstances. I'm just so thankful for everything I have, but to name a few things to start out my list (which is such a good idea, from other bloggers :) )....

1. I love my Hubby: He is so much a part of me. When we are apart I feel somehow not completly myself, and then when he returns home its like I have my whole heart back. He has shown so much support for me and my craziness (Callie our men are wonderful hehe). I am def. a crier too! But he's so wonderful and sooo incredibly patient with me. I don't know how he does it. He makes me laugh whenever I need it. I love you soo much Daniel.

2. I love my Lillie bug! Lillie is my world. She is so hilarious and so sweet. Always so happy. There's seriously not enough words to express how much I love her. And that I'm so happy she is in my life. I get to be with her everyday. :) And I miss her when she goes down for her naps during the day. I have so many hopes and dreams for her. I love you my sweetie! :)

3. I love being in Hawaii!!! Hawaii is seriously sooo amazing! It's beautiful everyday! :) (even though I miss the snow at times, especially now) I love being able to go to the beach whenever I want. Just to walk outside and feel the humidity on my skin. Love it!! Whoo!

4. I love my friends and family, I miss the ones back at home sooo much! And wish we weren't so far away. And I love that I have some family here, it's so nice to get away and go up to North shore to hang with Chad and Melissa and Kaiya. :) Love you guys!

5. I love and am so grateful for my sisters!....I miss you so much I wish I was there with you.

6. I'm grateful for being a mother and a wife and all the fun and challenges that come with it, it has made me a better person and has really helped me find myself. Life is so wonderful!

Hopefully I can stay caught up with this list thing. :) I will try! Love you all! Miss you!!

Beach Baby!

Sarah is visiting Lillie and I this week its been a blast, and has kept us company while Daniel is gone. We went to the White Plains Beach yesterday. This beach is beautiful and I recommend it. It was a lot of fun, now that Lil can wear sunscreen I'm not as worried to take her outside for more than a half hour hehe. But even then I put her in this little rash guard that was made for a two year old, and that helped protect her a little more and an umbrella. But Sarah and I both forgot our cameras, I had my phone one though, so luckily I got a couple of shots of Lil playing in the sand. Its a little new to her, her reaction was pretty funny. She would grab a handful of sand and by the time she got the chance to open her hand and look at what she had picked up the sand was gone. Hehe, so she would keep grabbing at it and dumping it all over the towels. :) But here's some of the pics I got with my phone. Love you all!

The Air Show!

A couple days ago we went out to the air show, it only happens like every five years or so, so we spent all day hangin out where Daniel works and seeing all the planes and watching the amazing Thunderbirds! They were so exciting! I love this country so much! And I am so grateful that I can be able to live the way I do! Thanks to all the military and especially Daniel for all the hard work you do to protect us! Love you! Here's some pictures and video of the Thunderbirds and the airshow! So awesome!

ALOHA!!! Just wanted to check in and let you all know about some things going on lately! First of all everything is going well. Hawaii is great, family is all great! Daniel just got promoted Staff Sergeant! He will have his ceremony sometime in February hopefully! So we're pretty excited about all that. Lillie is Six MONTHS now!!! Oh how it has gone by so quickly! I try to capture every moment! She's growing and changing so much! She's on the verge of crawling!
It's so exciting, and soon we'll be having to chase her. hehe!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you all know we are moving off base on Monday! Yippy! No more getting passes to let you all come see us! You can just come over whenever! :) It's something new. We are moving into the Kalaeloa apartments, on the west side of the island. It is closer to Ko'olina so we can be with family more when they come out! And we are close to a nice beach, Barbers Point here's a picture of the beach, more will come soon of our house and the whole moving process when I get them on our computer! Love you all!!! Hello everyone! I'm so sorry the pictures took so long. But here's an update on how things are going...Lillie was born on March 2 in the late evening. The doctor had to end up doing a C-section because I had stopped dilating at an 8 and her heart rate was dropping and I was getting a fever. She's now about five weeks old, she's gaining weight and doing great! Here's some pictures...enjoy! Love you all!!

Well today I'm at 38 weeks! Just TWO more weeks left until Lillie's due date!!! We're both so excited and can not wait for her to come into this world and be with us. Everything seems to be going good for all of us, She is in the head down position, very ideal for birth :). She has not dropped yet, according to the last doctors appointment, he said that I might not even feel it because she's already so low. So hopefully that will come soon! I'll keep you all updated as much as possible. Love you all!

For the past week and a half we've had Daniel's Aunt Tammie, and Uncle Jeff visiting from Indiana. We ended up going all around the island, and it was so much fun to do all the things you do here. Two more months!!!

Oh I can't believe it, little Lillie will be in our lives in just two months! We are so excited! We've got almost everything we need for her, hopefully. We have the crib, a pack and play with a bassinet, her stroller and car seat, some clothes (still not sure how big she's going to be for the ultra sound she was above average so we have most 3-6 months, but some newborn), and now all we've gotta do is get the little things, like diapers and such.

I just can't help but wonder how it's all going to turn out. I've been getting very nervous. I'm nervous for the labor, but more so for the after part, where you actually get to take care of your little one and hopefully you do it right. But it does help to know that I'll have some experienced ladies helping me a lot. :) It's funny because most women feel like their pregnancy goes on forever, mine has been so fast. I feel so unprepared. And then again I can't wait to actually see her and hear her. :) I already love her so much and I'd do anything for her. Just makes me love my mom so much more, and I haven't even gone through that much yet hehe.

Well that's just some thoughts I've had today and in the past. The comforting thing is that I know that Heavenly Father is watching out for me and our family and all of you, I just need to trust in Him and know that if I do He will be there always. We'd just like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Enjoy life. Well life is going well. Christmas was so quiet and different from being with families, but it was fun being able to cook our own dinner and just be with one another. Little Lillie is doing well, always active and growing strong. I'm a little nervous, as it is getting closer to the due date, but very excited and know that it will be all worth it. :) Besides that, nothing much has been happening lately, just missing family a lot and loving life. Daniel and I put up our tree yesterday!!! It's so wonderful and fluffy, and smells great! Love real trees!!! And today we put up Christmas lights :) in the rain (wish it was snow). Can't wait to see what it looks like at night. Well just some updates, the baby is doing great, she's nice and big and causing some back pain, but it is all worth it. I just can't wait to see her. Well since the last post a lot has happened. Daniel and I moved to a new place right on Base. It's a nice two bedroom home, with a full kitchen. :) We're happy about it. Next we found out that we were pregnant and am about three months along. We just went to the doctor and got to see the little one on the ultra sound and the baby had hiccups! We are very excited about our new family. And last Friday we got a puppy; half chihuahua and fox terrier, he's a bundle of joy and weighs about 2.3lbs. His name is Rex. Hopefully we can post some pictures soon of the house and new pup. Love you all and hope everything is going well.

Just Starting Out

Hello friends and family! Miss you all! So everyone was telling me to set up this blog thing hehe. So here it goes! Well Daniel and I recently just got married on the 21st of May 2008. It was a wonderful day! :) We are currently in Oklahoma, Daniel is training for Air Drop (Air Force) and we will be here until the end of July. We are lucky to be close to some family out here, Daniel's brother Eric and sister-in-law Kristin, are about an hour drive away from us. So that has given us time to be with them. We're both really missing family, and wanting to start out in our own place.
